在江南大学生物工程学院和食品科学与技术国家重点实验室长期从事酶工程、基因工程和发酵工程方面的研究,擅长各种微生物分子改造、蛋白质(酶)分子改造相关技术,在工业微生物发酵过程优化方面具有丰富的研究经验。2015-2016作为国家公派访问学者在美国Vanderbilt University医学院从事基因编辑研究。主持和参与国家自然科学基金、江苏省自然科学基金、国家高技术研究发展计划(863计划)等多项国家和省部级课题10余项,近年来在国内外主流学术期刊上发表学术论文40余篇,其中SCI文章共30篇,包括J Biotechnol、Appl Microb Biotech、J Agr Food Chem、Microb Cell Fact等国际权威杂志。研究成果已获授权专利10多项,其中国际专利2项。参与完成科技成果鉴定4项,2012年获教育部科技进步一等奖一项,2018年获商业联合会特等奖一项。
