从事工业酶分子改造和食品级微生物(链霉菌、曲霉等)表达系统的开发。担任中国食品科学技术学会酶制剂分会理事。主要承担《发酵工程原理与技术》、《酶与酶工程》及《发酵工艺综合实验》课程的教学。近年来在Biotechnology AdvancesTrends in Food Science & TechnologyGreen ChemistryACS Synthetic BiologyJournal of Hazardous MaterialsJournal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry等生物工程类SCI期刊上发表研究论文60余篇,出版英文专著1部(副主编);授权发明专利40余项,其中国际专利4项;主持国家自然科学基金(面上项目2项、青年基金项目1项)、国家重点研发计划课题、江苏省自然科学基金等纵向科研项目及20余项横向课题;获得中国轻工业联合会科学技术进步奖一等奖(2018),中国商业联合会科学技术奖一等奖(2017)和特等奖(2022),教育部第十三届全国多媒体课件大赛优秀奖(2013),江南大学教学成果奖特等奖(2021)和二等奖(2017)。
